V-Groove wheels are designed to guide equipment by rolling on inverted angle iron track, however, they can also operate while not on a track thanks to the tread on either side of the v-groove. Phenolic wheels give you similar capacities to steel wheels, however, they provide better floor protection, slightly quieter rolling, do not rust, & are more economically priced.

Phenolic wheels are made using phenolic resin mixed with macerated canvas which yields a high capacity and high impact wheel. They have hard treads & will not flat spot over time which is why they are often used on equipment that is under constant heavy loads, such as storage bins, dumpsters & BBQ Pits. Phenolic wheels are resistant to oil, grease, solvents, non-metallic & non-sparking.

* This brake kit has a maximum temperature rating of 180°F due to its plastic pedal construction.

* This face contact brake is not compatible with all casters. However, we've found this particular caster to be one of the few that pairs effectively with it. These brakes are not intended for use on slopes or inclined surfaces. Excessive force or pushing against the wheel may reduce braking effectiveness or cause slippage.
